Caravan Main Description:
English owned campsite, 6 units only, adults only. The site has electric hook-ups, chemical point, shower and toilet, all inclusive of 13 euros per night. We recommend booking, no deposit needed, payment in cash in euros on departure. A washing machine is available at a small charge.
Situated on the edge of the village within its own meadow, the site is approximately just over an acre and surrounded on three sides by woodland. In the quiet evenings you may be able to see deer, and we have a great variety of bird life.
The village of Vernoil has a boulangerie, chemist, 3 bars and a post office. At the edge of the village is a good supermarket.15 minutes driving will take you to the famous wine growing area of Bourgueil, where some of the best red wines are produced. The town also has a huge market on a Tuesday.
We are also well placed for visiting the chateau of the Loire, Tours, Angers and Le Man are just one hour away. We are 14 kms from Saumur, famous for the Cadre Noir riding school, and it also has a chateau to visit.
